At Mill River Lumber, we take pride in our industry expertise and our dedication to meeting the needs of lumber buyers, distributors, and manufacturers. Our products are created with the greatest degree of precision and care.
Being Vermonters, we care about the forestland, that's why we utilize every part of the log. Knotty exterior cuts are milled for structural applications, while the clear interior cuts are crafted for use in the manufacturing of furniture, cabinetry, millwork and similar applications.
To further reduce waste, we produce mulch for our local community out of any residual cutoffs. We work here and we live here too, so sustainable operations are always top of mind.

Dried & Dressed EWP
Our Eastern White Pine Lumber is the perfect choice for your construction and manufacturing needs. Our high-quality lumber is known for its durability and versatility. We specialize in 4/4 kiln dried lumber in widths from 4 to 12-inches, offering all NELMA certified grades.
Convenient Pre-Milling
We operate a modern, on-site planer mill where we produce all standard patterns of finished lumber for both interior wainscoting, paneling, ceilings and flooring, and exterior siding applications. Popular patterns include S4S, WP-4, Ship-Lap, T&G, Nickel Gap, and Channel Rustic.
Mulch
Available to the Public
Mulch is available seasonally by the cubic yard or wholesale truckload. Call for more information or stop by during office hours. Mulch is available in the spring and summer months only.

We source quality white pine logs from suppliers throughout the Northeast. Our experienced buying team ensures consistent quality in all the pine that is purchased for our mill.
